This been bugging me all day. Those glasses didn’t show up until 2006. 

TPTB don’t even freaking check…I mean they allowed Reid’s school to be wrong during this season’s prank war. It’s ridiculous. They need to hire a fangirl who will point out all their flaws before shooting and ruining canon things.

That bugged me as soon as I saw it. That and the hair’s about mid-s2 length if they gelled it as much as they did back then. The back of flashback!Reid was all fluffy/frizzy/curly.

Alternative reasoning I can come up with is it’s pre-series ‘05. But it would have to be more than 6 months before the pilot due to the fiasco of Boston with Adrian Bale. Assuming the pilot takes place in Real World Time of September 2005, this would make it Jan-Mar 2005 to account for the 6 month absence of Gideon, to have Morgan’s line make sense.

Also Morgan had a bit more hair up top for s1 as well, not as shaved down to the scalp look he has now. They didn’t do anything for that for the 2005 flashback look. Also, didn’t he wear suits (almost) every s1 episode? (I can’t recall a s1 ep where he dressed down, but he wasn’t in a suit for the flashback either.)

They really need to hire (or rehire) whoever to maintain continuity better than anyone they’ve got now.
